Kiss The Lips Of A Fool
by C. Carson Parks

Gaile Foote was a soprano, and I was a baritone, and this obviously created some harmonization problems. Either she had to sing too low in her register, or I had to sing uncomfortably high in mine. Usually, we were able to rock and roll the parts around to where we could come up with a satisfactory sound. This is also a favorite of some of my kids. I think it’s because we swapped parts in the bridge, and then roll into verse three without a pause or taking a breath. It was done by a guy in the U.S., but didn’t do much. It did a little better in Sweden, under the title of “Mrs. Emily Jones.”.
