Since I was born in Pennsylvania, descended from a long line, 200 years of Pennsylvanians, I've always had a soft spot for the state.  Somebody once said that God gave each state something special, and when He got done, He realized He had forgotten PA, so He gave her a little of everything.  Anyway, with Chauvinistic patriotism, I penned this little ditty, paying tribute to Valley Forge, Gettysburg, etc.  Other than The Greenwoods, nobody else has recorded it.  I got into a bind on some chord progression (didn't know where to go), and Dave Backhaus made some suggestions, so I gave him 15%.
