I wrote this the same night I wrote "Something Stupid", in an apartment at 7220 Melrose Ave.; L.A., CA.    The idea was that, if you have ever been connected with a person, you own part of him/her and they own part of you.  Whenever a commitment is made, you give away part of yourself.  Anyway, "Something Stupid" was a hit, and for whatever was left in the bottle of Christian Brothers Brandy, one out of two ain't bad!
