Done in "Salon Meringue" rhythm feel.  Just about the perfect tempo for dancing that they love in the tropics, a far cry from Nebraska!  Jimmy Webb had already written "By The Time I Get To Phoenix " and "Wichita Lineman", so I figured I'd grab a city that other folks would have trouble rhyming with.  Some of my kids count this among their favorites.  I think it might have something to do with the second line, and the 2 against 3 meter.
